So, what is a blog without people to read it?
To help you gather some readers (and avoid headaches of the tree-falls-in-the-forest variety), send an e-mail with your name, your blog’s name and web address to spl2.0adm@gmail.com. If you choose to do so, we will post a link to your blog on the 27 Things page so members of the 2.0 team and others participating in the program can read about…well, whatever your blog is about. We promise to leave lots of comments and be very encouraging. You, in turn, can do the same for your co-workers. While you're at it you could send an invite to your friends and family as well--let everyone know just how 2.o you are! You can also blog anonymously if you like--still send us your name and your blog's name and web address--we'll post the link and leave your name out of it. Don't worry--we can keep a secret.
And if you’d rather not share—fine then, be that way ;) —but be sure to e-mail us to let us know you're participating and follow step 2 below to be eligible for the flash drive and iPod shuffle raffle.
Exercises:
1. Send an e-mail to spl2.0adm@gmail.com with your name, the name of your blog, and your blog's web address (ex.: http://spl27things.blogspot.com/). Include your posting preference in the e-mail--do you want us to link your blog to the 27 Things page or not?
Important Note:
If you do want to link your blog to the 27 Things page complete the following steps: Go to Settings (if you use Blogger), then Site Feed, and then to Post Feed Redirect URL--here enter the url for your blog (ex. http://xxxx.blogspot.com/) where xxxx=your blog's name. This will allow links to access your blog directly.
2. Register for the program on Splat by going to Forms--27 Things Registration is at the top of the list.
